At The Recovery Center, we serve youth ages 5 and up, providing personalized support that meets each child or teen where they are—emotionally, developmentally, and personally. Our team delivers interventions rooted in trauma-informed care, ensuring every interaction is safe, respectful, and responsive to the impact of trauma. We use evidence-based strategies tailored to individual needs, and for younger clients or those who benefit from alternative approaches, we offer therapy through play—a powerful method that helps children express themselves, build coping skills, and process emotions in a natural and engaging way.

• Mental Health & Substance Use Counseling – Available both in-office and within local schools to ensure accessibility and comfort.

• Community Collaboration – We work closely with other local agencies to ensure every client’s needs are met holistically.

• Support Services – Including case management, peer support, and crisis intervention to guide individuals through challenging times.

• Family-Focused Care – From educational groups and family counseling to intervention services, we’re here to strengthen and support families.

• OhioKAN Partnership – We partner with OhioKAN to assist families navigating adoption and kinship placements, offering resources and support tailored to their unique journeys.

Youth Intervention Program (YIP)

The Recovery Center’s Youth Intervention Program (YIP) is designed for youth ages 12 to 18 as an educational alternative to suspension for violations of school or organizational policies related to nicotine, alcohol, or other drug use. Instead of traditional disciplinary action, students participate in a supportive, educational experience that encourages healthier decision-making and personal growth.
