Fairfield County has the most original covered bridges in the state. As you pedal the 2014 Tour de Cause, you may see up to 11 of them, including the 1864 McCleery and 1881 John Bright covered bridges, both over Fetter’s Run.
Choose from five possible rides for the 2014 Tour de Cause. All rides start and finish at Ohio University-Lancaster on Rt. 37 just north of Lancaster High School.
Breakfast is provided beginning at 7 a.m. in the OU-L parking lot. Throughout the rest of the day, your ride is fully supported by well-stocked lunch and snack stops; your ride is supported with mechanics and plenty of friendly volunteers to answer any questions and offer assistance.
The after-ride party is great fun for all. Cristy’s Pizza and other local restaurants are providing tons of great food. We’ll have entertainment, door prizes and a bike raffle.
